The Necessity of Excess Exhibition – combining art and the harder styles

After much organisation, plenty of laughs and a few stressy moments Friday night’s exhibition went off with the bang it deserved. A huge thank you to our friends at Sunstudios for hosting the gathering, Q-dance Australia for their ongoing support and for this article by our friends at alive-at-night.com

‘Necessity Of Excess Exhibition’ – Combining art and the harder styles.

A great opening night with fresh new photographic work from the lens of Urs Buhlman documenting a day in the crazy life of Defqon.1, the infamous Hardstyle festival held in Penrith, Sydney.

If you’re in town – Sydney town that is – the exhibition’s running until Sunday 31st July 2016! Check it out if you can … https://sunstudiosaustralia.com/events/view/urs-buhlman-the-necessity-of-excess

A great PR piece from The Western Weekender:  “Fans could see themselves in full hi-res on Friday night at the exhibition that documented the festival over two years.

Photographer Urs Buhlman captured the unique sub-culture that tens-of-thousands of people across the country flock to the Sydney International Regatta Centre every year for.

‘The Necessity of Excess’ exhibition will be launched on Friday night from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at SUNSTUDIOS Sydney Gallery, 42 Maddox St, Alexandria.

The exhibition will run until July 31, and will be open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday 8am to 4pm”
